Botanical Embroidery Designs - Edition 3 brings together more than 150 design plates and hundreds of botanical motifs with a stronger focus on structured ornament: borders, corners, frames, medallions, centerpiece designs and practical textile placements.

This edition explores what happens when botanical forms move beyond the isolated flower or sprig and begin to organize a larger textile surface. Leaves become repeating edge systems. Floral stems turn into directional borders. Corners are built around real 90-degree placement logic. Wreaths and frames create defined central spaces, while medallions and larger botanical compositions introduce symmetry, rhythm and visual hierarchy.

Structured Botanical Ornament

The collection develops repeating floral borders, leafy edge designs, wildflower and olive repeats, scalloped floral edges, vine and berry compositions, long-format borders, functional corners, oval and circular frames, rectangular leaf frames, open wreaths, monogram-friendly structures, medallions, centerpieces and larger placement designs.

Here, the focus is composition as much as motif: repetition, enclosure, direction and scale become part of the embroidery language.

Borders as Design Systems

Borders are treated as complete design systems rather than decorative afterthoughts. Some are narrow and restrained for napkins, towels or collars; others are longer and more elaborate for runners, curtains, pillow edges and decorative panels.

Botanical elements are designed to repeat with rhythm while retaining enough variation to keep the surface visually alive.

True Corners, Frames & Monogram Spaces

Corner motifs are conceived as actual 90-degree structures, not simply flowers placed near an edge. Frames and wreaths create spaces that can accommodate initials, names, dates or central motifs.

Oval, circular and rectangular structures make Edition 3 especially useful for monograms, wedding linens, baby keepsakes, commemorative pieces and personalized textile gifts.

Medallions & Placement Design

A separate group of designs explores central compositions for pillow fronts, hoop embroidery, table centers, framed textile art and decorative panels. Placement studies extend the same thinking to necklines, blouse fronts, pockets, napkin corners, table-runner ends, pillow corners, towel edges and pouch fronts.
