The wallcreeper's crimson wings interrupt the cliff's upright planes while two grips hold the climbing pose. The PDF embroidery pattern includes white oval feather markings and two crevice shrubs around that diagonal spread.
Is the wallcreeper shown flying clear of the cliff?
It is climbing, with two separate contacts on the rock. The opened wings interrupt the cliff's vertical structure while the grips keep the body tied to that surface.

The design on cloth
Wallcreeper on the Vermilion Cliff brings bright feather fields onto a broken rock surface. Keep the two climbing feet tied to their own contacts, then place the white wing markings within the crimson and dark feather groups.
Choosing the ground fabric
Suggested fabric: slate-blue linen. The palette proposes 19 DMC shades for stranded cotton. Supply your own needles, hoop or frame and a transfer method suitable for the cloth. Test the transfer and physical thread colours on a small swatch first.
From outlines to shaded surfaces
The guide maps 12 working regions with local stitch direction, strand count and DMC colour recipes. Use the region key and recommended sequence to follow the overlaps and changes in shading. Mapped techniques include faceted long-and-short, fine split stitch, split axes.
