Pine Needle Top Border — Hand Embroidery Pattern
Pine Needle Top Border — Hand Embroidery Pattern
No se pudo cargar la disponibilidad de retiro
Pine boughs, cones and rust berries gather along the top edge of the drawing. This pine border embroidery pattern has its greatest weight above the unworked linen. Needle directions should follow their branches, while cones and berries remain separate surfaces. Leave the lower field clear to retain the top-border placement.
About the download
An 18-page English PDF guide accompanies this hand embroidery pattern. It includes a stitch map, motif recipes, working order and technique notes.
Working the design
Keep the needle directions attached to their branches and preserve the open field below the border. The suggested palette contains 9 DMC shades, with colour swatches, codes and strand guidance.

Size and printing
The full design field is 20 × 30 cm (7.87 × 11.81 in), including the unstitched areas in the drawing. This measures the layout, not each motif or the finished textile. Print at 100% / Actual Size with Fit to Page switched off. Check the 5 × 5 cm control square, then use the registration marks to join the four A4 quadrants.
Fabric and preparation
Suggested experience: intermediate. Use medium-weight natural linen or linen-cotton in pale oatmeal, flax or warm ivory. You will also need embroidery cotton, suitable needles, a hoop or frame and a transfer tool suited to your fabric. Leave extra cloth for holding, mounting or sewing. Test stitches and thread colours on a scrap first; screen colours and dye lots vary.
Using the files
This is a digital download. Fabric, thread, tools and finished embroidery are not supplied. Follow the transfer drawing for placement. Lifestyle images show possible uses; garment sewing templates are not included. The SVG is linework, not a PES or DST machine embroidery file.
Licence
Personal, non-commercial use. Do not share, resell or redistribute the files or artwork. Selling finished pieces requires separate written permission from Stitchesly.
About the images
The design and illustrative images were developed with AI assistance. They show the intended appearance and possible uses, rather than a photographed stitched sample.
